Terms of service
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Cadence TTS, the text-to-speech service, API, website and dashboard at trycomsync.com (the "Service"), operated by Comsync ("we", "us"). By creating an account, creating an API key or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.
1. The service
Cadence TTS turns text into synthetic speech through an API, a WebSocket streaming interface, client plugins and a browser playground. We may improve, change or retire features, voices and models. We will give reasonable notice before removing anything you rely on in a paid plan.
2. Accounts and API keys
- You sign in with a Google account and must give accurate information.
- Keep your API keys secret. Anything done with your keys counts as your use, including charges. Revoke a key from your dashboard as soon as you think it has been exposed.
- Don't share an account between organisations or use several free accounts to get around plan limits.
3. Plans, usage and payment
- The Free plan includes a monthly allowance of characters. It resets on the first of each month and unused characters don't carry over.
- Paid usage is charged per character of text you send, at the prices shown on our pricing page when you use it. Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is added when you pay.
- Pay as you go is prepaid. You add credit by paying the payment link we send you, and usage beyond the monthly free allowance is deducted from your balance. When the balance can't cover a request, the request is refused until you add credit.
- Credit doesn't expire while your account is open. Unused credit is refundable only if we end the Service or your account without cause, or where the law requires it. A payment you didn't make can be reported to support@comsync.in.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes don't apply to usage before they take effect.
- Enterprise terms, including dedicated capacity or service levels, apply only if set out in a separate signed agreement.
4. Acceptable use
Synthetic voices can be misused. You agree not to use the Service, or audio it produces, to:
- Impersonate a real person, or create a voice resembling a real person, without that person's documented consent.
- Deceive people into believing they are speaking with a specific real person, or with a human when the law requires you to disclose an automated or AI voice.
- Commit or assist fraud, phishing, scams, extortion or identity theft, including fake calls from banks, government bodies or family members.
- Place calls or send messages that break telemarketing, consent or do-not-disturb rules, including TRAI regulations in India.
- Produce content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence.
- Interfere with the Service: exceed rate limits deliberately, load-test without our written permission, probe or break security, or reverse engineer the models.
- Resell raw access to the API as a standalone text-to-speech service without our written agreement.
You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed for the text you send and for how you use the audio. We may suspend keys or accounts that breach this section, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
5. Your content and the audio you generate
You keep your rights in the text you send. Subject to these terms and to paying for your usage, you may use the audio the Service generates for your own and your customers' purposes, including commercial ones. The voices, models and software remain ours or our licensors'. We process your text only to generate speech and don't store it; see our privacy policy.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service fast and available, but outside a signed enterprise agreement it is provided "as is" and "as available", without a guaranteed uptime. Synthetic speech can mispronounce words or sound different from what you expect; review audio before relying on it where accuracy matters.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Indemnity
You will defend and compensate us for claims by third parties arising from your content, your use of generated audio, or your breach of the acceptable use rules.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and revoke your keys at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or if we must do so by law. On termination you remain responsible for usage up to that point.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India. Before starting proceedings, both parties will first try to resolve the dispute through good-faith discussion.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and for material changes we'll notify signed-in users before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: legal@comsync.in. To report misuse of the Service: legal@comsync.in with "misuse report" in the subject.
