Privacy policy

This policy explains what Cadence TTS (the text-to-speech service at trycomsync.com, operated by Comsync) collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we don't keep the text you send us or the audio we generate. We keep what we need to run your account and bill for usage.

The text you send and the audio we generate

When you use the API, the WebSocket stream or the playground, your text is processed in memory on our servers to produce speech, and the audio is streamed back to you. We don't store the text or the audio. We record only how much you used: characters, seconds of audio, the number of requests, the voice, and timing.

What we collect

• Account details from Google when you sign in: your name, email address, profile picture link and Google account identifier.
• API keys, which we store only as one-way hashes. We can't read your keys back.
• Usage records: characters, audio duration, request counts, timestamps and which key was used, for billing, limits and support.
• Technical data: IP addresses, which we use briefly to enforce rate limits and protect the Service from abuse.
• What you tell us through our contact and upgrade forms, such as your name, work email, company and use case.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, enforce plan limits, bill for usage, respond to requests, and improve reliability. We don't sell personal data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use your text or audio to train models.

Cookies

We set one cookie, cv_session, to keep you signed in to the dashboard. It lasts 30 days and ends when you sign out. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Service providers

• Google, for sign-in, and Google Fonts, which serves the site's typefaces and can see your IP address when fonts load.
• Amazon Web Services, which hosts the Service in Mumbai, India.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive the amount, status and a reference, never your full card, UPI or bank details.

How long we keep it

Account details for as long as your account is active. Usage records for as long as needed for billing, tax and legal obligations. Rate-limit data for a few minutes to an hour. Contact form submissions until your request is resolved, or as long as we have a business relationship.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Write to privacy@comsync.in from your account email. Deleting your account revokes your keys and removes your account details. We keep billing records only where the law requires.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, keys and session tokens are stored as hashes, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes

We'll post updates here with a new date, and tell signed-in users about material changes.
